A while back, I was feeling a bit overwhelmed with the direction the hosting industry was heading, especially with the looming possibility of restrictive legislation. I realized that, like many of us, I had been sitting back and reacting to changes as they came instead of taking control of the situation. That’s when I came across the Secure Hosting Alliance, and it really changed my perspective.

The Alliance is all about being proactive and not waiting until it's too late. One of the main things they're tackling right now is protecting Section 230. For those of us in the hosting business, Section 230 is everything—it shields us from being held liable for what users post on our platforms. Without it, we'd be in a whole lot of trouble.

Seeing the Alliance take charge made me realize how important it is for hosts like us to stand together and make sure we're protected before something drastic happens.
